Norwegian full scribe log fitting, no chinking required, with perfectly fitting saddle notch corners, there is absolutely nothing to compare this “Rolls Royce” of log homes with. If you’re dreaming of a log home, this is probably the home in that dream.

     We bring bark-on Douglas Fir logs into our yard. We then peel, cut and notch the logs to fit your home, then deliver and assemble the home on your site. As are both the log crafting crew and the on-site construction crew, we have developed a building method that allows all the parts, logs and dimensional lumber to fit together favorably. Every log home we create is designed to not only accommodate settling, but to fully exploit it, encouraging the home to become tighter and tighter over time.

     Don’t be misled by the deception that you can afford to build a milled (or “kit”) log home, but can’t afford to build a handcrafted log home. The cost of a log home is dependent upon its design and building methods. There is actually very little cost difference between a completed handcrafted log home and the equivalent milled log home.
